We Roof

San Bernardino, California
We Roof roof inspection and repair

What full service means

It means I do not hand you off. The person who inspects your roof is the person who writes the scope, and the crew that shows up is the crew I run. Repairs, re-roofs, inspections, gutters, storm work and maintenance plans all come from the same place, so nothing falls between two companies.

It also means I work with whatever is on your roof: tile, shingle, shake, metal, flat membranes, cool-roof coatings.

How I build a relationship with a customer

By solving the problem they actually have, and then being reachable afterwards. A lot of the homeowners I work for now first called me for a single tile or a pipe boot. They call back because the small job was done well and the bill matched the estimate.

Long-term customers get to plan their roof work instead of reacting to it, which is cheaper for them and easier for me.

Standing behind the work

Every re-roof carries a written workmanship guarantee, and every repair carries a shorter one on the area fixed. If something I did fails, I come back. That is not a slogan; it is the only way to run a small roofing business in a county where word travels fast.

The guarantee is in the contract, not just on the website.

Residential and commercial

Houses are the bulk of the work, from the older stock around downtown San Bernardino to the tile tracts near the foothills. Commercial work is mostly low-slope: retail, small industrial, churches and school outbuildings, where the problems are drains, seams and rooftop equipment rather than tiles and shingles.

I run both kinds of job with the same rules about tidiness, communication and finishing what was started.

What you can expect

Reliable, fair, honest and courteous. Those are the words I would want said about me by the people whose roofs I have touched, and they are the standard I hold the crew to. If a job goes sideways, you hear it from me first, with a plan.

Everything is in writing, from the inspection report to the final invoice.

Why the name

It says what we do and nothing else. There is no clever slogan behind it and no promise it cannot keep. We roof: houses, shops, additions, churches, the odd barn. If it has a roof and it is in the valley, it is the kind of work I take on.
